The Creator
Mir Ahadul Islam is a multidisciplinary Bangladeshi creative — an author, film director, and musician whose work refuses easy categorisation. He writes with equal command in Bengali and English, moving fluidly between superhero fantasy, psychological horror, dark romance, and gothic literary fiction.
His Bengali debut মনের আলো (Moner Alo — Light of the Mind) — a superhero story set in Dhaka — earned him the Sher-e Bangla Golden Award 2026. His English debut The Teeth Beneath hit #1 on Amazon's new release list before Amazon controversially terminated his account without evidence or payment — he published onward anyway.
Beyond books he has written & directed three short films, composed original Bengali music, and scripted a 3D animated feature. He is currently based in Dhaka.

Cinema
A single unbroken take into dread. No cuts. No mercy. Raw horror cinema at its purest.
What happens after midnight isn't always metaphor. Dread built from silence and shadow.
A slow-burning thriller built on unspoken truth. Every frame carries the weight of a secret.

Coming Next
A trilogy that spirals deeper with every volume. Book One: ঘূর্ণিপাড়া (Ghurnipara). A descent with no promised return.
Before the legend. Before the horror. Before the blood — there was a story no one dared to tell. The Draevena universe begins.
1980s Calcutta. A circus burns to the ground. Decades later, the ash still remembers — and something in the ruins refuses to stay dead.
Three couples — upper, middle, and lower class — drawn together at life's most fragile crossroads. A heart-touching portrait of love, regret, and reinvention.
The universe expands. More books, more stories, more darkness. The Draevena mythology is only just beginning. Details to be announced.
